If you just gave them a couple of days everything would have worked out without having you to pay them what you did.  So here it goes

Remaining Balance: $1.40
Refund: -$41.40
Balance: -$40.

If you gave the right numbers this is what your account SHOULD show within a couple of days. You will NOT get them to send you an ammended statement..it just won't happen because it CAN'T happen due to the fact it is a Credit Card.  If you want to see current information you can go online and view your account.

While I agree you should make your payment as early as possible, your payment would not have been due for about 3 weeks.   If you were a bit more patient instead of "flying off the handle" you would have given it a couple of days for the refund to be credited. Where after the payment was credited, you would only need to pay $8 to have a $0 balance and not worry about any credit balance.

But since the world revolves around you and your reality nothing anyone else says to try and explain doesn't matter. But in the end after the dust settles it all works out to where the refund was credited and you will not have paid any more than you had to.  Your impatience just added an extra step where they need to send you a check for the overpayment.

hello dear stupid victoria's secret the full balance was $41.40 i just got word today my return was found/credited...so where do i owe the commenity victoria's secret card...any money!! idiots!! if i am credited back thee balance that is the full amount owed...why have they not credited my card account?? I OWE VICTORIA'S SECRET CREDIT CARD...NOTHING! please intercede on my behalf..how stupid can they be?? 1) RETURN HAS ALL OF A SUDDEN BEEN PROCESSED/CREDITED..2) FULL BALANCE WAS FOR 2 BRAS RETURNED!! 3)FULL BALNCE WAS THE AMOUNT I OWE!! this is really stupid and inept on their part!!!! correct the balance owed deduct..i am NOT SENDING ANOTHER PAYMENT! You ask what the problem is. Well I am sorry to say that right now the problem is you.

You sent your return on 11/25 and it was received on 11/28(thanks to the tracking number you posted).  If No******m processed your return that quickly, good for them.  Because if you go on-line and look at their processing time for online returns say 7-10 days, you are claiming it wasn't even 5 days. But this doesn't make it a RipOff if VS takes a bit longer, even if every other site you visit processes returns quicker.  If you go onto the VS site they say you need to allow up to 2 weeks from the time it was mailed for the refund to be processed.

The reality is this wouldn't be an issue if your billing date on your card was a week or so later(and no this does not change and was already determined when you opened the card), as you wouldn't have seen it and wouldn't have cared if it took them 3 days or 10 days.

I wouldn't be shocked if the refund has been credited by the time this is posted. But then again I wouldn't be shocked if it hasn't been because it could take a couple of weeks.

Now, since your due date is probably not for about 3 weeks and it has already been over a week, it will most likely be credited before the payment was due. If this was your only item you won't owe a thing as  you will have a zero balance. If you had a balance, then nothing really changes as you still have at least the minimum due from your other purchases. If by chance you do pay it and have a credit balance then yes they will either send you a check or you can just apply that to a future purchase.

If in another week or so you still don't have a credit, then you may have a valid complaint.
