Having handled both claims and sales of extended warranties, you will see in the section that says "exclusions" or "what is not covered" that there is an exclusion for salvaged title vehicles precluding them from being covered. Most companies do a search to ensure that the car does not have a S title, however not all states report this the same and it is possible to "wash" a title. If you paid $4000 and got $4000 in claims paid, you got your money out of the warranty, and I can tell you, not all warranty companies would have paid for the claims associated with a Mercedes as well. Also, most if not all sales calls are recorded and help for years, call them and ask for it to be reviewed, if you did in fact tell them it had a S title then you may have some recourse to some type of refund. However if they paid as much or more then you paid for the contract in claims I would highly doubt it.

What I would personally do if i was you. Is pull out my contract and read if it says anything about Not being eligible for a contract. If it does then I would be contacting this place and requesting a full refund because if the contract was not supposed to be sold on it technically you may be entitled to a full refund.

You should not be complaining since you're lucky you had any claims paid. Your car didn't qualifiy for a contract and slipped through the cracks. $4000 in paid claims??? That has to be close to double what you paid for the contract. Good luck getting a contract from any other warranty company with a rebuilt car!
