Ripped off by World Voice Link, Inc.

My name is Carmita Alston and I was ripped off, I received a phone call on January 19th or 20th of 2002, saying that I would receive a free pager for trying their service and that 19.95 would be billed to my phone bill after 30 days, then I was transferred to what appeared to be a confirmation call with another party.

There was a several clicks, then the story changed and to there will be initial start up fee of 29.95 and I would have to pay $47.00 to activate the pager then 30.00 in 30days. Something didn't appear to be right.

I called back to cancel and I got hung up on several times, they put me on hold and you could hear women talking about what they were going to get for lunch and alot of laughing and playing, then the phone was disconnected.

I just wanted to cancel.
