Ms. Thompson was presented with a conditional approval from A.J.T.M. Financial Group, Inc. This approval stated that the fee was to pay for the Inspection and Appraisal see below:
Appraisal Deposit & Site Inspection Report: At acceptance of this Loan Offer ($1,750.00) will be released to A.J.T.M. These monies will be used for the Independent Appraisal & Site Inspection of the subject collateral. Please be advised that if there are any monies left over they will be applied to the loan fee at closing. If the estimate is too low the borrower will be responsible to make up the difference. (Wire Transfer, Cashier’s Check or Direct Deposit. No Company or Personal Checks will be accepted).
The company said they could not provide her loan, and said that they will issue a return of funds. It has been almost 3 months now, and we have been given the run around with everything imaginable, excuse you can think of. They said they were going to send it back by bank wire...Nope. They said they were going to send it by mail. Nope. It's just 1 lie after the next, with multiple days of small responses
