We have dealt with American Credit Acceptance for 78 months Our contract ended in May of this year But I was told in August we were paying off deferred payments 11 to be exact,
when we got the car in May of 2017 through Car Max we had traded backing our car and the company who financed us was this company yes we understood the charges but we were also told we would be able to refinance, wrong! we learned after and later that the company had no grace period at all. One day you get hit with a 60-dollar fee during these 5yrs we have fussed with them because it is hard to have $634.24 on the 1st of every month and yes there was a time when our business slowed down we drove a truck together so we to keep all the bills going but American credit felt they were the only ones that needed to be paid. Their employees were rude uncaring and talked to you as though they never had a problem in there life and you were dirt under their feet. We finally got to the point that we were tired of all these rude people who talked terrible to us and who tried to say we said something we didn't we put recorders on our phones. Some of the employes there would hang up they didn't like that. This year I called in April and advised them about my having shoulder surgery and that we would be late but would do our best to catch up, well things didn't get better in May I had to call and let them know that payment would be lateby then Aprils pymt had been paid,I had fell and broke both my ankles they were working with us yea we were behind two payments our contract was up we had till April of 2024 and the car would be paid for in nov I talked to them I told the young lady I thought we'd be able to make two payment in a row but I was wrong so let me say this is paymts were moved to the 22nd of very month so I made a pmt on the 17th the received it on the 19th I made a pamt on the 24th the recied it on the27th that morning and that night that repossed our car we only owe 7 months $ 4400plus late fees $600 but there telling me the pay off is $17000 the rep said you agreed to 72 payments and you've only paid 65 so I asked did she now how to c**t that's 7 more paymts!! we have paid $41225.60 and now they are putting it on our credit and selling our car I think it is wrong they could have seen that the car was close but now this isn't their first rodeo they have been sued up the East Coast for the dealings and west coast when is enough enough

Huh?

If you don’t make payments, you get late fees and ultimately a repossession. This is totally normal, and you agreed to it. I am sorry that you experienced health issues, but this has no bearing on your financial obligations, and it is not an excuse to not pay your bills. Also, you need to learn to write concisely and use paragraphs.

YOU decided to breach the terms of the contract, not them. YOU decided to not make on time payments. YOU decided to have all these deferred payments and YOU caused extra interest to accrue. YOU decided to play the grace period game. All the other reasons, excuses and delay tactics are irrelevant. This is a business, not your mother, your grand mother, your financial counselor or your clergyman. YOU signed a contract agreeing to make payments -on--time, every time. YOU failed to live up to YOUR AGREEMENT and YOU caused all collections activities. You're right...this most definitely is not your first rodeo. This is a subprime, deadbeat lender with whom you were PLACED because banks wouldn't touch you with a ten foot pole because of your obvious track record of YOU not paying YOUR bills on time and here you are, doing it over and over again. You serial deadbeats don't ever learn, do you??? Oh yes, let me do you a favor. Don't bother wasting your time saying something stupid like "you must work for them". I'll tell you ahead of time...I DO NOT!!!
