I started a refinace loan with this company in May 21,2021 Laura Triplette and Marie DeLeon were the two overseeing the loan
I sent in all paper work they wanted when they wanted it .
By June had not heard a word tried to call Laura but phone number on her emails was no longer in service , My 1st question was on my elevation certification since I had them n 2019 to buy the property could i use that her reply yes will do , yet she charged me 14.00 for something I supplied on the close
The loan got held up due to one of thier under writters noticed on the prior loan in 2019 the Company they use to do Apprasials put the property down to be a manufactored home.. The same guy from the same company came out this time in june 2021 and did the apprasial we got a copy before Laura
Laura sent me a email stating the guy said it was a manufactored home ( mine showed Modular ) and then the brakes came on ... I went threw this crap befor the Modular homes, in North carolina carry state seals and data lables while manufactored have H.U.D tags
We went rounds about this , Manufactured have to have a engeiners inspection and are not covered under conventional loans so I would loose my refinacing as well as my home owners insurance . This was a fight and the only dam person in the company who would respond & act like she cared was Racqueal Catayas she did her damdest to get this taken care of while Laura and Marie remained mute .
Laura did email me in July said it was all good and we were going to close on the 21st. I knew from the loan Officer Racqueal that the trailer vs Modular was being knit picked to death as well as they had problems with the pictures he took underneath ,& they needed him to amend the paper work and remove all the verbage that pretained to trailer from the report . What actually happened was when the underwriter sent a message to the apprasier she asked him to fix it he did from a Modular to a trailer ... I sent the man a email and had him put it back since he had all the Legal documentation to show it was a Modular home and had seen that there was no hitch or axels that a trailer would have under it.
He did his part and fixed the apprasal to show what it was suppose to be all along , a modular home which fell under Conventional loans they still sat on it When I said I was going to escalte this and not let it go Racqueal went over the underwriter and to her boss to get it moving along
Then they got hung up on a credit report that stated this Foundation Fianance ,the company I was asked about in May , told them we did not deal with them and assured it was ok. Oh NO ! even though there was nothing on my credit report to show we ever did anything with this company they needed me to prove it . We did , this was on the wire ,we had been set up with another closing August 2,2021 ... Racqueal called the company she needed to get this taken the Monday before close .
On the pay offs and payment to us on the money we got from the refi we were told 3-6 business days , Well they wired the money on the 6th day we were suppose to get, . But now 9 days later all the loans they were suppose to pay off still have not been , I had to make one payment to a creditor due to their procrastination, I am now looking at having to pay another one in 2 days
Sent Laura a email since her phone number i had was no good asking what was up , was told she would check in with Cameron.on friday.. Per Atlantics website where you can sign in and view the paper work , we still have not gone to close ! WE did 8/2/2021 it is now the 16th
I did get a email since i wrote and let her know that I was not happy w/ this entire transaction that the payments are going out today ....
She said shes been working very hard to assist me BULL . I have all the emails to show who did respond and who did not as well as all mine sent that were cc to Larua and Mariea . Like I said Racqueal did it 90% of the time .
I know Laura from a friend that is why I used her both times ( since I could not locate a JGWentworth) And to be honest she will respond to my friend (who sends her potential clients & has done business with her on 3 homes ) in a heartbeat when there is a question. The first time i worked with them they had a problem of one person not knowing what the other on her team was doing
Save you self the aggravation and procrastination , I have seen them close on a loan in 3 weeks the loand were days from each other my friends and mine .. Guess when they do not stand to make a lot off the loan they take thier sweet time . Even on the first loan like I said it seemed and I complained then that the left hand is clueless to what the right is doing
It is not worth the stress and aggravation to work with this company
