My concerns regarding several issues I have faced since joining the company in January 2023. Below are specific examples of unprofessional behavior, lack of adequate training, and inappropriate conduct from colleagues that I have encountered:

Training and Development:

Despite being assigned to the Project Manager of MEA in the Sri Lankan office for training, I received no formal or adequate training, and training sessions were consistently delayed—sometimes by as much as a month. On the rare occasions when sessions were held, they were rushed, and trainers were often late, making it difficult to learn.

The Project Manager frequently claimed that the company could not function without him, yet failed to fulfill his responsibilities as a trainer. When I raised concerns about my training, the Project Manager made inappropriate remarks, including questioning my personal life choices. He also made intrusive comments about my medical condition and salary, which raised serious concerns about confidentiality.

Professional Boundaries and Work-Life Balance:

The Project Manager contacted me late at night (1:00–2:00 a.m.) for work-related tasks, which I find unprofessional and disruptive to my work-life balance. On several occasions, I was asked to work on my scheduled days off, and I received calls on my personal number, which I found intrusive.

Conduct in Meetings and Training:

During a meeting with a senior team member, the Project Manager openly admitted to never training me and criticized the Sri Lankan team's poor training quality. He also belittled me for not understanding certain features, despite the lack of proper training. The senior team member also exhibited unprofessional behavior, raising his voice and claiming that my training was adequate, despite clear gaps. When I asked for clarification on certain topics, the senior team member either did not know the answers or dismissed my concerns. Furthermore, the senior team member redirected my emails to others, instead of addressing my questions directly, and disregarded my concerns regarding a colleague's excessive focus on my work.

Inappropriate Behavior and Treatment from Colleagues:

A colleague often gave me orders and focused excessively on pointing out mistakes. After I raised this issue with the senior team member, the colleague became even more focused on reporting my errors. The Sri Lankan team frequently communicated in a language I do not understand in my presence, despite being required to use English, which further hindered my ability to understand and participate fully in team discussions.

Unprofessional Conduct from a Colleague:

A colleague has been frequently redirected to assist me, but often claimed to be busy. On a few occasions, the colleague hung up on me during phone conversations, stating he did not hear me, and did not return my calls.

Other Concerns:

In meetings with a candidate for a Saudi Arabia position, the Project Manager made demeaning comments, such as, “You’re lucky to have me train you; you’ll gain double the expertise.” He also referenced my tenure at the company, trying to undermine my knowledge in front of others. Most of my training was conducted by a colleague who struggles with English and provided training in a casual manner, further impacting my ability to learn the necessary skills effectively.

Additionally, I invested in an external service membership out of pocket to record meeting notes. However, the Project Manager accused me of spamming, which I found disrespectful and dismissive.
