My son (16) is a gearhead. He loves cars and wanted to get sponsored for low cost accessories on his car. I have an MBA and I am a business owner, so I understand what it takes to get sponsored by a business... you have to put a marketing plan to the company and sell yourself as a great way to increase the business's reach. He went off on his own and found this company that promises car sponsorship if you sign up for their monthly service. They charged him $46.50 without verifying that he was at least 18 and claim that you can cancel and get a refund if you don't get sponsored. If you try to call them, their phone number is disconnected. Emails go unanswered. SCAM! I have reported to the attorney general here in Florida, but I want other parents to watch out for this scam!
