This LLC registered in Delaware sells with Walmart online and is running a scam. They sell computers as new, but what arrives are poorly refurbished, non-functioning computers. I just received one. I emailed and called the company at the contacts provided. No one answered any method of contact. I filed a complaint with the Delaware Attorney General.
https://www.walmart.com/global/seller/9078?reviewsCursor=5 I scanned the help QR code added to the desktop? It goes to a website in the UAE for *refurbished* computers. It shows the laptop was sold 4 months ago and still had 8 months of warranty. However, you cannot actually use the warranty (nor would you want to), because Lenovo does not cover third party sellers.
Look at their reviews, everyone is complaining they receive non-functional electronics and are refused returns.
- It did not work, do anything when I received it. I called the number they sent with it and they told me to return it to them and they would fix it. I sent it back and they received it but they don't notify you of anything. I sent an email asking when it would be fixed and when would I get it back and I have not heard anything.
-This seller is a SCAM, please stay away. Sold Computer Dead on Arrival, refused to complete return. Waited until 30 days passed to respond with comment that they will not refund their DEAD Laptop.
-I am not getting a response at call. I purchased this in March. It WILL NOT even turn on.
-I received a new laptop that would not power up and the LED flash code indicated memory/RAM failure. I immediately tried to contact Best Tech through the Walmart email link and did not receive any reply. In the meantime, I returned the laptop to Walmart per their policy and they shipped it back to Best Tech. I once again attempted to contact Best Tech through the order number/Walmart process and received no reply. In that email I said if I dot not get an acknowledgement of my return I would have no choice but to dispute the charge. Walmart replied to me saying if I did not get a response within 48 hours to go ahead and dispute the charge which I have done. The other sketchy part of this laptop was it was a new Dell laptop but did not have any service tag.
This is what was just received completely bricked:
