Facebook Marketplace Took money from my sales without informing me Palo Alto California

Beware of selling with shipping on Facebook marketplace. I have sold a few items with shipping. About two months ago, I noticed my sales balance was a negative $23.18. This was the same amount I made on one of my sales. The item was delivered and I received positive feedback. I was never informed a buyer wanted a refund so I messaged the buyer. She checked and said she was never refunded nor did she ever ask for a refund. So I contacted FB. They replied they would look into it.

A week later I emailed them again , same answer. The next day I demanded an answer as to why my account was in the negative and what refunds if any came out of my account. Still nothing. I have emailed them 7 times and still nothing. Today I made a small sale with shipping, once I printed the label, the amount I would have made was deducted from the negative amount. So obviously I will never see the proceeds from that sale!

I will now have to refund the buyer and not ship the item. I am done with selling shipped items on marketplace. Pay close attention to your sales and watch for any negative amounts that were never refunded. Possibly the marketplace employees are the thieves, pocketing for themselves.
