For approximately a year I had a credit card by FNBO called the Jeep card. I have never missed a payment, paid on time and always paid the minimal and more likely 3x what was indicted for me to pay monthly. My credit score today was 705.

They sent me a letter lowering my credit amount. The reasons were not even real. They did not do their due diligence. They said the resin was I had too many credit cards. Well. If all my cards are being paid on time, never late why do they not go by what I do with them FNBO? They gave me a half-a** answer “That's the way it is” Well how does one continue to Maintain a good credit score, and pay all bills when a bank does this insanely has rules that do not make sense?

I think flooding the internet with this information would be a good option. I believe they are being discriminatory against me. I am not young. And evidently they based this decision, not on my payment history, not onto me payments, not paying more than expected, but on my age. As indicated in o e phone call to them.

They have every right to do that

A bank can lower your credit limit or even close your account whenever they feel like.  Evidently, FNBO thought that you were a poor credit risk and decided to lower your limit to reduce their risk exposure.  Having lots of outstanding debt and a large number of open accounts is a problem even if you are making all the payments, because it indicates that you are financially stressed and might default on it if something happens.

A 705 credit score is significantly below average.  It doesn't make you ineligible for credit, but it is marginal and lenders will not give you the most favorable terms.  Anything less than 700 generally makes you ineligible for most loans.

And why would they care about your age?  People's credit score generally improves as they get older and reduce their debt burden.  Many senior citizens have credit scores in the 800s, and banks are happy to lend to them.
