I signed up as a Freelance service provider several weeks ago on Freelancer.com. I went through the Know Your Customer process and paid the $100.00 application fee. I never heard back from them and sent emails to customer support. I got a reply that my application was denied and I had to resubmit which I did. I then asked for a progress report and I was told that my application was denied again for no reason. I demanded a refund and the message I received stated that my "ticket" was resolved and that if I wanted to reply to the message, I would have to use the "chat" option. In other words, they blew me off and shut me down.
After reading numerous other responses on the internet, apparently they are scamming and defrauding individuals internationally.
I would recommend to anyone DO NOT register with this company or have anything to do with them. It is a scam.
