My 2016 Hyundai Veloster Turbo was purchased from Modern Ford in Boone with remaining Manufacturer's warranty.  The day of purchase the passenger low beam was out, I had to buy a new bulb before I got out of Boone at Advance. 

Within two months I had power steering and other lights on the gauge cluster, took it for repair, issues continued and after many trips and weeks of leaving my car at Hyundai they found the Original Dealer installed the rearview mirror upgrade incorrectly.  They had replaced thrust angle sensor, power steering module, etc.

The headlight issue was intermittent sometimes it would be on and other times it would be off. The gauge cluster had been out for a couple trips so mileage was off.  Finally all of that was fixed but the headlight issue remained. We took it again at just over 61k miles and they refused to repair under warranty. 





I had reported within warranty but they refused to repair. I worked with the escalation team and pretty much was lied to and harrassed by their person and demanded another person and escalation and for her to not call me back and she called me right back to harrass more.  I am still fighting this issue.

They say the headlight assembly needs to be replaced due to high resistance.  I have never had a headlight assembly go bad and this clearly is either a manufactur defect or something to do with the wiring/ electrical problems we had. They just do not care about customer service and will take any excuse they can get to get you out of warranty. 

All those trips to the dealership were over 100 mi round trip and techs took my car to their home and used the car to try to catch the issues happening.  They could see all the faults in the computer. The dealership was good to deal with but Hyundai direct corporate purposefully is impossbile to deal with once you become a "problem".
