Instacart fulfills orders for grocery orders for multiple companies. I have tried twice to order groceries to be delivered on varioius sites after having been told by Instacart via chat how to make sure my EBT card is accepted. In each instance, my EBT card was not accepted. I even spoke via chat to someone at one of the stores they service. That store thinks that they are accepting EBT on their site also. I can only assume they are being decieved by Instacart and have not checked. I wonder if it's some sort of a crime to state you accept EBT and have no mechanism to accept it. At one point I was told they'd take money from my EBT which I had put into the system and they billed my checking account instead.
