The Joint Refused to issue credit after recurring was previously canceled and overbilled Phoenix AZ

I canceled my account back in December of 23 during my last visit to the joint. 

On sept 20 2024 I noticed that my account was still getting billed $79 per month so I called in to figure out what happened and was told I have to physically come in and cancel again.

I promptly went in and canceled again and was refused a refund for the services not rendered.

I disputed the most recent few charges with my bank and while going though my billing statement I noticed that my wifes card on my account was also being over charged.

Her membership is and has been $69 per month but starting September 27th 2023 they started charging her $79 per month also. She is not two people and does not have or need two memberships.

she called in today 10/24/24 to try and figure this one out but the front desk lady was unwilling to help.

Effectively The Joint has stolen 12 payments of $79 from us on my wifes card totaling $948 and 9 payments on my card totaling $711 for a grand total of $1,659
