Matt Skinner is a fraud. Do not trust this guy to do any sort of real estate investment, aka Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT). We invested $50K in Phoenix apartment investment homes (Tides at 40th St), the ones he advertises all over his Youtube videos to snake other investors. He stole the money, changed company names, dropped phones/emails and has disappeared. He has not provided quarterly statements since 2017 and has not provided K1 tax documents in over a year. He advertises REIT investments with apartment homes all over the United States and he has spoken in countless seminars across the states to trick investors.

It took me two months to track him down after my father passed away. I communicated with him on the phone in January 2020 where he told me, and my attorney, in a very convincing manner that he would buy shares back from our investment. He dropped his phone within 2 weeks from that call. He dropped his websites and now only uploads videos to his Youtube Channel. When my father was alive he had to physically hunt Matt Skinner down twice in Valencia, CA just to get a rare quarterly payment that was well overdue. He has been a profession con artist stealing millions of dollars from innocent people. He will steal your money, he steals from the deceased and he is clearly a disgusting human being.
