It was a long journey for last 3 months with Mint. When you order new sim cards, they expire after 45 days whether you use them or not. Generally Mint service wont work with unlocked phones from another carrier, you have to use their phones which arent sold in stores. Because of this, there are delays in getting a phone up and running. They do answer the support numbers in a timely manner, but they just havent thought out very well how a customer would get started with them. I wasted a lot of time and money trying to make 3 lines work with them. Dont put yourself through the hassle, its just not worth it. I finally had to give up with the 45 day expiration being the last straw. I possibly would have added 5-6 lines to their service. The phone on their site are a bit pricey with nothing under 100 dollars.

What makes you think their service doesn't work with unlocked phones? I have set it up more than once and have not had any issues. Of course, the phones actually have to be unlocked. And why would it take 45 days to activate a SIM? It takes 20 minutes at most.
