MSC Development A fraud Failed To Refund Deposit After Cancelling Contract Jacksonville FL

I applied to finance the Bright Image Veneers and was approved. I made the initial down payment of $350 (which was immediately debited from my check card). After receiving the contract via email outlining the terms of financing, in which MSC Dev. Inc was requesting an additional deposit and a processing fee, I decided to cancel the transaction.

The total amount paid would have been over $600 after the advertisement stated only $350 down. It was totally misleading and false advertising. The finance company Bright Image uses is MSC Development Inc. They debited my account and snuck in the additional charges after the contract was prepared to sign. I sent several emails to cancel and refused to execute the contract. After about 3 days, I received an email stating the contract was voided and a return to my card would be processed within 7-10 business days. That was on April 3rd. To this date, my money has still not been returned.

Naturally, I filed a dispute with my bank. So I'll be getting my money back sooner or later, but I wanted to put this crooked finance company (or so called) on blast because their practice is extremely deceptive. Not only do they NOT have a full customer support team to address inquiries, there's only one phone number to call (and not toll free, by the way) out of Texas and the same lady picks up every time. The last time I called for the status on my refund, she told me I needed to contact MSC. Problem is, they both have the same number! This smells like a scam. And not having my money returned, it IS a scam.
