I saw an internet ad for Nuvega - a lash replacement serum - which was a 14-day "free trial". When you fill out the info online it ends up you have to pay S&H of $4.99.  But after the 14-day "free trial" you will find a charge on your credit card for $94.97.

When you call to find out what the $94.97 charge is for, you are told that it is for membership in their monthly service.  But when you tell them there was no notification of such a membership or charge, they say it was in writing.

On 2/4/19, I made a call to the 1-800 number and as I told the rep I spoke with, I always take screenshots of anything I may sign up for online and there is NOTHING on the screens that I reviewed and accepted for the "free trial".  The rep then told me it is "very plainly marked on the screens for all consumers".  I again stated that I took screenshots of ALL OF THE SCREENS and would be happy to forward them to him.

He then said he would be happy to refund my money if I returned the product and gave me an address to ship this back to.  I sent it overnight to their Lewiston, ME address and they received the product on 2/6/19.  I was told that day my refund was being processed.

I have made at least 2 phone calls every week since and have been promised by each rep I have spoken with that my "refund is being processed".   On 3/15/19, I received an e-mail from Nuvega that said "This email is to inform you that $94.97 has been refunded to your Mastercard XXXX for order #XXXXXXXX."  As of today, March 19, 2019, I still have NOT received my refund.

I contacted Nuvega again and spoke with Edgar who said there is nothing they can do and it was going to take another 2 1/2 to 3 weeks so I asked to speak with a manager. I was put on hold for over 10 minutes when Charles came on.  Charles proceeded to tell me that he was the "highest up person" in the company and there was nothing he could do to process the payment any faster and I would have to wait for another 2 1/2 to 3 weeks.

I told him I was tired of waiting and that this was absolutely ridiculous - they took my money the same day I placed the order online and there was NO REASON it should be taking over 6 weeks for them to refund my money.

Charles repeatedly talked over top of me, was extremely rude (as was I when he got nasty and said he would disconnect the call) and said he would make the refund take longer.  I told him I would be reporting his company for fraud, theft of funds and services and anything else I could come up with.  Whatever you do, DO NOT BUY OR DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!!  THEY ARE THIEVES AND CON ARTISTS!!!
