RICK HENDRICK TOYOTA Purchased a 2024 Toyota Camry and protection warranty and paid cash. Dealership gross miscommunication and lack of leadership failed to send documents to Southeast Toyota Finance all monies had been paid. Southeast report to the credit bureau that I was three months delinquent causing credit score to drop. FAYETTEVILLE NC

Rick Hendrick Toyota, Fayetteville, NC was given cashier checks for a 2024 Toyota Camry and a protection warranty . A check in the amount of $31,000.00 was given on September 29, 2023 for the vehicle. On October 10, 2023 a check in the amount of $5,110.95 was given to the dealership for a protection warranty. Therefore, the dealership had obtained all monies due for the complete purchase. In October 2023, I began to receive invoices from Southeast Toyota Finance, of late payments. In addition, continuous phone calls started requesting a payment. I took a copy of the invoice from Southeast to Hendricks and spoke with the finance department and a manager while picking up my license plate. I was assured by both parties that there had been an error in receiving the requests for payments. However, the systematic demand for payment continued. Therefore, I called Southeast and informed them that Hendricks had been paid in full for the vehicle and warranty. Southeast reported to the credit bureau that I had been delinquent for three months in making payments. If I had been delinquent the contact would have been breached leading to a repossessed process. Hendrick Toyota and Southeast gross failure in communication lead to adverse reporting to the credit bureau. The delinquent report caused a hardship of a score of 805 to drop to 711 impacting any further purchases.

Understand this...those of us who know this chain know proof positive YOU CANNOT TRUST THEM. Further more, ANY dealership which ADDS FAKE FEES is telling you HONESTY and INTEGRITY are NOT in their play book and you simply cannot and should not trust them. They make more money when you finance the car. Who knows what kind of shenanigans they are trying to pull to make it look like you financed the car so they can get that "more money"! Your credit reputation WAS COMPROMISED thanks to whatever they are trying to pull. Of course, they are going to tell you "it was just an honest mistake" when those of us who know their reputation also know the word "honest" is NOT a word they are familiar with. Get an attorney NOW. Most likely this will be a CONTINGENT FEE case which means you don't pay a cent until you win. You can also include as part of your case these BOGUS FEES and any extras such as any kind of FAKE Toyota "Protection" Plan which includes grossly exaggerated priced items. Start calling around and ask the attorney if they have experience in cases with these stinking slimeballs and do not use an attorney who doesn't. You can also contact your local Bar Association for a referral and look around on the internet as well. They took actions and steps to DAMAGE YOUR CREDIT. Go after this trash.

Why on earth did YOU chose to buy from a dealership chain which has one of the SLEAZIEST reputations in the business??? Did you READ your documentation BEFORE you agreed to the terms? Did YOU see all the BOGUS, ADD-ON, PHONEY FEES? You just went along with that aspect of their FRAUD and DECEPTION? Any amount financed would have been shown in the documentation...UNLESS...they were dealing with TWO VERSIONS to DEFRAUD you. Nothing but nothing should ever surprise you in regard to FRAUD and DECEPTION at ANY of their dealerships. The FAKE FEES you paid and were listed in the documentation should have TIPPED YOU OFF what type of SLIMEBALLS you were dealing with! There are no such LEGITIMATE fees such as dealer fee, nitrogen, electronic filing fee, documentation fee or any of their other hundreds and hundreds of dollars THEY ADD IN BOGUS FEES. As for your credit reports, you may have a great case against the Hendrick TRASH. If your credit score has dropped because of their CON-GAME or "mistake" then YOU contact an attorney which has experience in fighting THEIR WELL KNOWN DISHONESTY.. I urge you to do this NOW. Nothing but nothing should surprise anyone in regard to FRAUD and DECEPTION from any Hendrick store. Their reputation is a matter of record in the legal system as well as in the industry. They will try anything to DEFRAUD someone. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS DROP!!!
