RPI Designs RPI Designs Sold Me Unprogrammed TPMS Sensors, Then Refused Refund Salem Ohio

I purchased a set of TPMS sensors from RPI Designs that were specifically advertised as being pre-programmed. After having them mounted on my vehicle, I attempted to pair them using the same TPMS learning tool I’ve successfully used on my 2015 Silverado. Despite repeated efforts—including driving, rapid deflation/inflation, and multiple learning attempts—the sensors would not respond.

I became suspicious that the sensors were never programmed to begin with. After doing further research and acquiring a Smart Sensor Pro+ tool, I confirmed that none of the sensors were programmed at all. This matches the exact behavior of brand-new, unprogrammed sensors.

I contacted RPI Designs multiple times, providing clear evidence and detailed troubleshooting. Their only response was to deny a refund, claiming the sensors were "damaged" and "non-returnable"—even though I explicitly told them they had not yet been removed or damaged.

Because of this, I am now stuck with unusable sensors that will likely be destroyed upon removal, and I'm facing the additional cost of replacing them and paying for another tire mount. Their refusal to stand behind the product or even explore a resolution is both unprofessional and unfair.

Be very cautious dealing with this company. I wish I had read more reviews beforehand—they clearly have a track record of poor support once they’ve made the sale. Buyer beware.
