SetSchedule Real Estate lead generation service

Is a major Waste of time & Money! April 3rd 2019 I received my 1st "Prospect Lead"! It should have been April 1st!

I paid $1,220.00 to join them as a "Silver-Bronze-Platinum" Level Realtor. (I can't recall the metal) I was told I would get continual "LEADS" in a 25 mile radius from where I select a point on my city map. Houston TX (More than anyone can deal with). They told me I would be given up to 30 Free leads at a time. I was told if they were not satisfactory or verifiable, they would replace them. My backend cost would be a 20% fee at closing. They would credit me back $200/ closing in order to reclaim my Up-Front Fee!

Well I worked the leads I received by 1st researching prospect supplied address of interest prior to calling the phone number supplied. My research turned up properties that had not been on the market for months or years past. Some maybe 10% that were currently active. I would then attempt to call....

Very few calls were answered. Maybe a sign of the times. (No one wants to take a call from unknown callers) So I would send some market info to the e-mail address supplied, with my reason for the message based on the SetSchedule contact request. Of course, I sent details of my 25 year experience with RE/MAX and many times experience in the community the property listed in the request was in.

I also sent a “TEXT”, since most numbers were Cell phones. Informing Who I was and why I called. My process was to wait a day or two and repeat with call text and resend the e-mail. I would wait a week and then try again with a call and changed my e-mail & text to a “No one really loves a Realtor except their wife, and sometimes they don’t! But if I may be of assistance please call.

90 Days of this and over 100 attempts. Not 1 face to face meeting. The 10% I did get on the phone told me,

“No I’m not interested I was just looking on-line”.

“I am a Realtor looking for a client”.

“That must have been a while ago”.

“Why are you bothering me”.

“I wanted to get info for a property Tax dispute”.

1 prospect was someone looking to get a section “8”, Lease to Purchase! If you’re a Realtor, you will get that one!

Not 1 response of over 100 said.....

“Oh yes I am considering a purchase or a sell”!

After I utilized the 30 free leads, SetSchedule started charging $7 to $30 for “High Rated Leads”.  They were no better than the others…. If you are considering this service contact me in Houston TX. Google will find me.

I question if the “Good Reviews”, for this service are real Realtors or hired reviews?
