On Dec 13th, 2003, our company signed an agreement to purchase surveillance cameras and recording device from Spystores.com/Simon Wilby, to be delivered and installed on Jan 15th, 2004. At the time of signing the agreement, a cheque was written to Spystores.

Numerous phone calls from Jan 15th/04 to Feb 06/04 failed to convince the company to deliver the goods. At the time of writing, Spystores no longer is returning my phone calls.

Simon Wilby displays the classic con-man traits, with many imaginary connections with the FBI and RCMP. Anyone who has seen "True Lies" will quickly see the similarities between Spystores' Simon, and the Simon character from the movie.

At the time of writing, this case is going to litigation for recovery. Do not under any circumstance deal with this shady company. He is very deceptive, even going so far as to have an SUV with "Spystores" painted acroos the vehicle in bright yellow lettering.

RETRACTION/APOLOGY ..original post was written in frustration

AUTHOR: Dan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, March 17, 2004

This is to confirm that, as of today, the contract between Spystores and my company has not only been fulfilled, but expectations were exceeded. As a result, I wish to retract my original posting of Feb 07/04 and add that, in retrospect, that in no time has Simon Wilby misrepresented either himself, his products or his company. Therefore, not only will I not hesitate to use their services again in the near future, but will also recommend them to others without restrictions.

My original post was written in frustration at delays which were out of everybody's control, and should Spystores or any of its representatives encounter these postings, I wish to express my sincerest apologies for lashing out.

Contract started to be delivered ..

AUTHOR: Dan - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, March 15, 2004

Simon/Spystores did show up at our apt bldg with the DVR today as a show of good faith. This DVR is an upgraded version of the one originally in our contract as he felt badly that it was so late in delivery. Still to be delivered are the wireless cameras and installation, which I am told will occur within a few days. Further update will follow at that time.
