Square Trade Warranty Ripoff on phone "Family Plan" - constant shuffling with requirements just to avoid settling claim

I think that Square Trade has become a company that is rip-off as far as processing individual's claims. I've been a Square Trade customer for at least eight years and never have I encountered the amount of run arounds and stories that I have gotten in the past three days to get an iPhone claim processed (mind you, the claim still has not finished processing, it is now awaiting a "review" to determine what the next course of action is going to be.

I recently purchased the "Family Plan" and ending having to file a complaint on 2/20/2020 because my daughter's iPhone had stopped working. Well three days later I am no closer to getting the claim approved/processed. I have spoken to Square Trade employees over the past three days and every time a new requirement has been added to get my claim process and now it il take at least another two "business days" to get an answer from Square Trade on if they are going to repair or replace my phone.  Every time I call Square Trade that's a new form or action required to supposedly to get my claim processed. It's now three days without a phone and still getting the run around from Square Trade.

 I've been a Square Trade customer for more than eight years and have never encountered any excuses or issues in getting a claim processed. I've been recommending Square Trade to friends and family but at this point would NEVER recommend or advise anyone to purchase a Square Trade plan. My belief is that the Family Plan was implemented but now it's a deceptive process to process claims on phones that have been added that are not necessarily new when added to their "Family Plan".

I will never purchase another Square Trade warranty plan
