STASH charged my bank account $9.00 a month for 4 years after closing the account. Wilmington Delaware

I signed up for a free stash account in March 2021, I was going to fund the account with my bank account, but the process didn't seem legit to me so I canceled the funding transaction.  I then called Stash and canceled my account.  fast forward to March 2025, I get an email from STASH stating that they just processed my $9.00 monthly subscription fee.  I was floored, so I logged into my account (that was canceled 4 years prior) to find that STASH had been charging my bank account $9.00 a month for the last 4 years.  Upon logging in, my account said "your account is being closed allow 5-7 business days" - it had been 4 years!  I called STASH spoke with Rome from their helpdesk, explained the situation and the best that STASH could do is refund the last 3 months, which I declined.  I have reported them to the FTC, BBB and now I'm filling a suit for fraud in my local court.  Stay away from this company, read the reviews in the apple app store, look for the 1 star reviews, they have done this over and over again to many people.  Go with someone that is more trustworthy.
