Wholesale ATV Held my money for over 3 months, false status updates and cancelled my order after price increase Did provide refund Memphis TN
On 12/22/2020 I ordered an adult go kart and paid in full by credit card. I understood it would be a 6-8 week delay in delivery, which I accepted. After waiting I inquired on status of order on 2/12/2021 and received the following email reply "After looking at your order, I see it should be arriving on the next truck. You will receive an updated tracking number as soon as it ships." When it still did not arrive I again inquired on 4/3/21 and received a reply on 4/5 that stated "Your order has been canceled. Order #8856 was canceled because we did not have enough stock to fulfill your order and your payment has been refunded" along with an email dated 4/5 that stated "First off, we sincerely apologize for the delay in getting your order fulfilled. Next, as of 4/5 a full refund of $2795.13 was issued back to your Visa card ending in xxxx and the order was canceled.
Depending on your bank, this should go back to your account within 5-10 business days. We have gotten no updates on when the next shipment will arrive. Please continue to check our website for new arrivals. The latest update stated the end of April 2021. Thank you for understanding and please give us the opportunity to serve you again. They arbitraily cancelled my order without asking me first knowing they expected delivery in less than 1 month (after I had already been waiting since December 2020, so what is another 3-4 weeks?. Next paragraph is probably the real reason they did this.
I then went to their website and they were taking "pre-order now" but at an increased cost of $600 so I sent another email on 4/5 asking "Is the real reason you cancelled my order is you are now charging $600 more on your website [for the same go kart]? Their reply: "No sir. We are having a tremendous amount of delays in getting these and a lot of other items from China. A lot of the ports are closed due to the pandemic. And then some are letting the necessities items in first. We've had to cancel many orders due because they are "Out Of Stock" at the warehouse. And we have no way of receiving updates for oversea shipments. Please continue to check our website for new arrivals. Thank you for understanding and please give us the opportunity to serve you again." Strange - they first told me it would be on the next truck.
My reply to them on 4/5 "Thank you for the email but why didn’t you ask me before cancelling the order. What’s one or 2 more months after I’ve waited 4 months when an email you sent me at 1:26pm today you said the latest update is maybe the end of April and you are still taking pre-orders on your website. If you want a chance to serve me again put my order back inline where ever it was and when they come in call or email me and you can charge my credit card at that time for the original ordered price." Their silence is deafing so the real story is they don't want to honor the original price I paid in full 4-months ago. I will give them credit for refunding my money after they had it for almost four months to my credit card. I will never deal with this company again as their actions (or lack thereof) speak louder than words.
