I had 1and1 Internet for over 8 years and just fired them. They deleted our organization's website. Just gone. No notice, no explanation. All the invoices were paid up. Called support and after an hour on hold they said we must have deleted it. No, I can assure you we did not. Internet Archive proves that sometime between 13 March 2016 and 7 Oct 2016 our entire website turned into blank pages. And when I asked about a restore from backup they said they didn't have any backups older than 7 days. I asked to file a complaint and they hung up on me.
