1and1.com incompetent, non english speaking technical and customer support, hung up on me 3 times, never charged back my credit card Ripoff Chesterbrook Pennsylvania

1AND1.COM is the most pathetic company I have had the honor doing business with. This company may be cheap for domains but they are the WORST company to deal with when they mess things up "on accident".

I called their Technical Support office 3 times last night and was hung up on by some non-english speaking people who did not even understand technical information. I simply needed to move my domain to a new nameserver so I asked them to register new IP's and they kept asking "so you want to switch DNS information?" I said "NO NO NO"... I practically begged them NOT to change anything with the DNS settings... what did I get? My site went down for 12 hours because they decided I needed to switch to their DNS settings. This means they get a High Traffic stream that I PAID FOR that gets sent to them!!! They put up a page that reads "This site was just registered by 1and1.com".

So I feel like they did this on purpose... after calling them back when I noticed this - their response was: "well it takes 24-48 hours to propogate". I didn't ask how long it took to propogate... I asked WHY MY SITES DNS SETTINGS WERE SWITCHED! and yet - I got the response as before... "it takes 24-48 hours to propogate". This company does not have any english speaking employees... if they do - they're hiding from english speaking customers who are PISSED OFF!

This was NOT the first time I had bad experiences with this company though... no no... We purchased a Dedicated Server through them for $218.94 and when it came time to speak to Technical Support - it took 1 hour to get through to some guy who sounded like he was in China or something... don't get me wrong - I don't care where you're from AS LONG AS YOU CAN SPEAK ENGLISH! This guy spent 2 hours on the phone with me and all I got was "Sorry sir I will transfer you to someone who can further assist you..." then the phone hung up.

Read around this site and see other peoples complaints about this company - I can only WISH I would have read their complaints before I paid so much d**n money. Over $580 spent with this company and I could have used that to pay for my first, early Heart Surgery these people have sent me to.

THESE PEOPLE ARE THE MOST PATHETIC COMPANY ONLINE!!! DO NOT USE 1AND1.COM !!!

1AND1.COM IS A RIPOFF !!!

1AND1.COM WILL ONLY GIVE YOU HOUR LONG WAITING TIMES ON THE PHONE AND NO HELP !

1AND1.COM TAKES 4-5 DAYS TO RESPOND TO SUPPORT TICKETS (EMAILS) !

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED ABOUT 1AND1.COM - GOOGLE FOR MORE INFORMATION AND CHECK YAHOO.COM OUT TOO FOR HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE BEEN SCREWED OVER BY 1AND1.COM !
