David B. 1st-art-gallery. Deceptive nd Deceitful Advertising on their website Internet

‘Appalling poor quality’ would be a more accurate description of the painting I purchased from 1^st-art-gallery.com than ‘museum quality’, the landscape looks cartoonish and only vaguely like the original. The poor quality of the painting was only exceeded by the aggressive and rude ‘customer service/abuse’ given by David from Fst ART Gallery. My opinion was confirmed by friend, an art restorer, who said his eight year daughter could have done better! I told him at least the paint was quality Windsor & Newton or Blockx, ‘Nothing of the kind…’, he replied, ‘…it is quite obviously cheap, Chinese paint that has a high lead content and could be dangerous to handle’.

Upset I contacted Fst ART Gallery to return the crap painting only to be informed by a rude David B. that shipping while advertised on their site as being FREE was not in fact free and that I would have to pay for having this rubbish shipped to me! After a series of unsatisfactory email exchanges in which David B. became increasingly aggressive, I decided to throw it on the fire and burn it only to be told by my art restorer friend that  wouldn’t be a good idea as the cheap paint could give off hazardous fumes so I put in the dustbin where it truly belonged.
