4myrebate.com Will not pay a valid rebate Internet

on 1/22/2011 I bought a Galaxytech video card from CompUSA which came with a $30 rebate. The rebate asked for "copy of receipt, bar code, and rebate form." I filled out all 3 and filled out an online registration stating I had mailed in all requested documents.

I get a reply e-mail please be patient for 8-10 weeks to receive your rebate.

about 11 weeks later I check up on my rebate online and see denied.  I call to ask why and find out they say there was no date on my purchase receipt and they emailed me 2/2/11 stating the denial and I had 30 days from that date to appeal.

I replied telling them that I will have the store give them whatever information they need showing valid purchase date during rebate period.

The person on the phone became rude so I asked for her supervisor.  She stated her supervisor was not there.  I said to her "Ok so there is no one there above you?" She said "We have a floor manager but not a supervisor!" I was like ok then let me talk to him or her.  She transferrs me.

This guy Darian gets on the line will not give me an employee ID or any identifying information states I'm out of luck because they told me 2/2/11 that I was denied.  I told him I did not receive any such email or I would not have waited until 4/2/11 to call.  He said sorry for your luck.  I was like well this is bogus, I filled out a valid rebate form gave EXACTLY what it asked for, and nowhere did it specify that you must have a "dated receipt."  I am not sure what happened or why there wasn't a date on the reciept.  Maybe the store printer messed up I don't really know but can get another receipt straight from the store.  He said I was past expiration time and there is nothing he can do for me sorry.

I called CompUSA they said that was bogus but there was nothing they can do for me, and emailed me a copy of the receipt.  I emailed that copy to 4myrebate.com and they will now not reply.

Guess I am stuck.  Thankfully it is only $30 but I did everything I was supposed to for this rebate and I get told too bad.
