500 fast cash

I'm not sure if anyone knows about the law.  This company is not suppose to make threats.  They can not put you in jail for owing money of a small amount.   Even if they could it's only a misdemeanor under a certain amount.  They will not waste their time trying to collect the money as it will cost them a ton of money to get back a little bit of their money.

They can not garnish your disability payments as you are exempted.

They can't file federal charges.  They are not protected by any laws as they are not a bank.

You don't have to worry about your credit report as they are not a bank or financial institution.

You have nothing to worry about, they are harassment and threats, they do this to intimidate you.

My suggestion is to threaten them with filing bankruptcy.  Just say: "I've hired an attorney to file bankruptcy and that you need their address to send the letter"

If you don't want to do that, then contact this guy at:

consumercounselgroup.com

Tell him your problem:

He's helped me and he sued a company for 10,000 for physical threats.  However, he can get you up to 1000.00 he's an attorney, he was on CBS news recently in september.  You don't pay him any fees as he goes after the company and the company pays him.

Notate the times they call and what they say.  Just so happens that I recorded these conversations from the bill collector and was able to justify.  That's why i got 10,000

Good luck

They cannot put you in jail nor can they garnish your diability check, but what they can do is put a lein on any assets you have. They can make your life horrible until you writh them a letter stating they are not allowed to contact you based on the Fair Debt Collection Act.

with their money. You said yourself that you closed your bank account when they started taking payments. That is irresponsible. Why didn't you take a loan out with your bank instead of this horrible, 150% interest rate company? You know that these are not meant to be long term loans. They should be paid back in 30 to 60 days at the most. Don't play the medical disability card. Nobody cares. You borrowed money and now they want to be paid back. If you could not afford the payments than you shouldn't have taken out the loan with these sharks.

It seems personal responsibility has gone the way of the dodo bird.
