5LINX- The Multi Marketing Giant and Still Growing. UNBELIEVABLE!
Actually it's my husband that have become mislead by Multi Level Marketing. It cost $499.00 to become involved in 5linx. Their concept is, this is a great "Business Opportunity". Their product is Global Linx phone service and a video phone, and several other products, cell phones, satellite, broadband, internet service, some are really resales from existing companies. If you sell one of these products you create points for yourself. Starting your team you have to get 20 customer points by selling products and 3 qualified IMRs,(Independent Marketing Representatives). IMRs start the process of building your organization. If anyone can accomplish this process in 30 days they will receive $1,000. Once you make Senior Vice President which you achieve after becoming a trainer, executive director then national director, 5linx will make payments on a BMW, which is really leased.
If you achieve Platinum Senior Vice President 5linx will make payments on a Bentley. Some people actually believe they are giving these cars away, but they are really leased.
My husband have been with 5linx for at least three years and I don't think he's made $200.00 and that's gross exaggeration. Whatever he makes he has to share with his downline,(other people he initiated into 5linx), which many times equal to about $4.00 sometimes a little more. The most I've seen was $50.00. Not only is this deceiving my husband but causing other good people to invest their hard earned money. It's gross deception and unfortunately no one seems to be able to stop these Multi Marketing Crooks.
The only people that are profiting from this 5linx scheme are the three men that started the company, and the people they hire to make the video tapes talking about how successful they have become by working this miraculous business process that 5linx have developed. Oh! and don't forget the motivational speakers that get on stage and swear this is better than gold... 5linx and other companies like them are getting hundreds of Executive Sales Reps and pay them little or nothing on a promise that they will make a million dollars. People want to believe this and those are the people they prey on. I can't believe the government have not put a stop to this. They don't have to pay taxes on these underlined Executive Sales Reps., because the Sales Reps. are classified as having their own business, so 5linx and other companies like this are getting basically free employees that they don't have to pay taxes, unemployment, workers comp, health care, family medical leave, etc.
My husband is one of their most committed people and it's affecting his self esteem, because he can't understand why it's not working for him, especially when the people on the video tapes and on stage appear to be so successful. "Ha,Ha" My husband and many of his downline is in credit card debt from the cost of attending seminars and conferences in different states and cities throughout the United States, and purchasing supplies and of course their Web Site and e-mail. I've heard people talking about quitting their jobs because they thinks a full time commitment might be the answer. My husband is committed but he's not crazy, besides, I think he wants to remain, my husband. I hope this might help some other people.
Most of the time I can only laugh. Maybe, I might start my own Multi Marketing Company and sale books on "How to Start a Multi Marketing Company and Beat the Government".

I’m back to say that my husband has been in 5linx now for 9 years. If he believes in this Multi-Level Marketing with undying passion, I have decided to support him. No, my husband is still not a millionaire and never did get the Bentley but I have to admire his perseverance. 5linx have added on to their products. They now have health care referral, health products, energy for the home, and upcoming bundled network, among other products. 5linx has kept up with the times and my husband right along with them. Even though he is not walking across a stage, getting the recognition or support he deserves I have decided to support his efforts. Hopefully 5linx will recognize his loyalty and dedication as I have and pull him in as the winner he deserves to be.

I can not believe that your husband has not made 200 dollars in 3 years. You can sell 1 yes, only 1 alarm system and make 200 dollars commission. The 2nd thru the 10 alarm system is $300.00 a piece commission. So, what you are say is that in 3 years, your husband could not sale 2 alarm systems. In the business elite product, the 4 sale through infinity is $200.00 each, commission. WoW

I think the reason why your husband failed at 5LINX is 1. he quit the business 2. (The real reason why) His downlines wasn't following the system of the business. Your husband was getting IMRs, but his IMRs was only staying IMRs, or giving up on the business.
I have a saying: as long as there is a product or service it's not a scheme.
I would of felt what you was saying if 5LINX took people money and have no product or service to give in return.
MLM business only works if you build a strong NETWORK (downlines); any business stay a float if they have a strong NETWORK!
