Back in Dec. of 2004 I ordered a sunroof from 6th planet auto parts for a 97 Saturn SC-2.I thought it was odd that when I called all they had was an answering machine. I recieved a call back and placed my order with Melissa, the wife of the owner Joe Cutrone. I paid $349.50 for the sunroof which included delivery. Two days after the expected delivery date I called to check on the status of the roof, of course I got the answering machine, because no one ever answers the phone there.

I did get a call back from Melissa and noticed another odd item about this buisness, when they called me back it was from a private number. Melissa said she would check on the status of the roof and get back to me. When I heard from her again she said the roof was damaged during delivery and she would send me another one.
She assured me the roof would get shipped out and I would recieve it befor they closed for X-mas. She called me the next day to tell me that it didn't get shipped and all of her employees were leaving the state for the holidays.

After this I decided to do some checking and found that when I called information they had no listing for 6th planet auto.

After many calls and e-mails I never did recieve the roof or a credit as I was promised.

In response to the above complaint, the customer recieved a full refund for the part he ordered.
I apologized for the damage to his sunroof, and the delays. All packages are fully insured through out shipment because it is not rare that the shipping companies sometimes damage the packages. At the time of his order, I did not have another replacement sunroof that I felt was in good enough shape to send to him. I get new inventory in each week, but since this was a gift for his daughter's car he was on a tight schedule and needed a replacement right away.
He did recieve full credit back to his credit card.

As for the other comments.
We had just moved to Arcadia,in March of 2004 and had plans of building a shop here in town. In the meantime, we were listed and still working out of Ft. Myers Fl. This is why he wouldn't find a listing in Arcadia, Fl.

In August of 2004 Hurricance Charley came and devastated our town, and seriously damaged our new shop. We have since rebuilt, but since there were so many hurricanes to hit Florida that year it delayed the building almost a year. We are 90% complete now and if you visit our website you can see pictures of the new shop.
Thank you,
