Aug. 29, 2014 called by a rep from 7 minute loan offering a 1,000 to 10,000 dollar unsecured loan after about 10 minutes I was told to go get a green dot money pack for the proof of the first months payment was secured and ready.

Was told after doing this to call back 754-210-8885 his personnel line or 754-210-8889 for further instruction on how to get my loan in ten minutes directly to my account.

Went to get a money pack and the clerk at the store warned me that fellow customers had claplained about loosing thier deposit and can not get refunds from green dot.

I came home looked them up on google and found several complaintes hear at ripoff report.

have not lost any yet.

have to wait and see if they try and enter and withdraw from my bank account.

This is called the Advance Fee Loan Scam

AUTHOR: FloridaNative - ()

POSTED: Friday, August 29, 2014

A lender can not charge you a fee up front for a personal loan in the US.

So any person that asks you for any fee whatsoever up front for a loan is a scammer. If you were going to get a personal loan from a legitimate lender, the fee would be deducted from the proceeds.

Go to FTC(dot)gov and read up on consumer scams.

If you gave the scammer your bank account number or debit card or credit card, you are actually in worse shape because they can now use that info for ID theft.

Close your account with the bank to protect yourself. Good luck.
