Complaint Description: Filed with the BBB (No action was taken) The original terms of the agreement were not met. Additional terms were added which breeched the agreement. Asking for refund of $300 An agreement was made for a loan of $5,000 contingent upon me providing a $300 voucher from green Dot to verify method of payment. The money was to be deposited into my account once proof of the first $300 payment was verified. Lance Morris (754) 816-1048 was my final contact. Upon my presenting the $300 voucher the money in the voucher was withdrawn by Mr. Morris "7 minute Loan" and I was requested by Mr. Morris to produce a second voucher for $580. I refused and requested my first $300 back and was told they had no intention of proceeding with a refund. Mr. Morris informed me that my only re-corse was to proceed with the second voucher. In asking about my refund Mr. Lance Morris became very rude and hung up on me after saying they would not and did not intend to refund the first $300. Desired Resolution: I only ask that the Voucher amount which was taken from the Green Dot account be refunded for $300 since "7 minute loan" could not complete the original agreement. That $300 was never intended nor requested to be paid up front but, was only intended as a show of good faith.

This is called the advance fee loan scam. The scammers goal was to get you to send untraceable cash. They succeeded. Not much you can do now.
" Filed with the BBB (No action was taken) "
In order for the BBB to get involved, there would have to be an actual business to complain about. You were dealing with a group of scammers, not a lending institution.
" Desired Resolution: I only ask that the Voucher amount which was taken from the Green Dot account be refunded for $300 since "7 minute loan" could not complete the original agreement. "
Good luck. Generally, when you are robbed by a con artist, they do not give you your money back. Even if you ask nicely. Their primary goal is to take your money. The only thing you will (hopefully) get out of this is a $300 lesson that will teach you never to send untraceable money to people only known on the Internet.
