AAA Insurance Hitting customers with huge increases due to AAA determining your Mileage, which is wrong! Internet

AAA has begun charging their customers for what they call "Excessive Mileage".  Your insurance can go up as much as $100 per month based on "Excessive Mileage".  The interesting thing is that AAA has determined what your mileage is without you supplying it.  What does that mean? 

It means that they charged us based on 2 vehicles, one they said used 40,000 miles each year and the other 30,000 each year.  They were so off on the mileage that I stopped in at the local AAA in Marysville, CA and was told that I had to provide proof of mileage by going back 3 years and providing them with copies of work performed by Tire Stores, Smog, Dealerships, etc. which showed mileage. 

I contacted the CEO of AAA and told them that the calculation being used is incorrect and needs to be changed to correctly determine mileage.  After all, they have access to our yearly SMOG reports and should pull mileage from that!

I also wrote an update on my FaceBook page telling all my friends to contact the CEO as well. What did I find out?  One of my friends has been with AAA for 40 years and has cancelled due to this problem.  My own daughter had the exact same experience.

Fight back and contact AAA!  Demand that they change the method of computation of mileage and then file a complaint with the Department of Insurance demanding that they return the excess money they have collected.  A thorough investigation needs to be done on this process to insure that everyone that has been overcharged gets their money back.
