AAA premier property management promised us an apartment that would be quiet and offer us a peaceful living environment. From day one, the downstairs tenants had numerous visitors who made noise day and night with loud music and kids playing on our steps and throwing balls against cars in the parking lot. It was extreme. We have police reports and numerous letters written to Alan Adler, manager. He at first said he would evict those tenants but ended up doing  nothing at all. After 9 months of not sleeping because of noise, we gave notice and paid the early termination fee of one month's rent, $775. He told us that was all we had to pay.

We made sure to do a walkthrough and left the place in spotless condition. We took pictures. We then received a letter stating we would not get ANY money back from our security deposit due to a $400 plus cleaning fee, a broken garbage disposal which was fixed many times during our occupancy and just fixed a couple of weeks prior to us moving out, and the balance of the $775  which was almost $300 to go back to the owner because we "broke our lease". I thought that was why we paid the early termination fee! And he told us that was all we had to do to legally get out of our lease! We are sorry we ever met Mr. Adler and it is shameful how he mismanages and treats tenants. He should be held accountable for keeping our money. It is both illegal and unethical.
