told my brother drew to take car in for transmission fluid and filter change mercon V

less than 15,000 on tranny fluid although 10 years old

stan store manager says fluid is burnt

tells brother must take apart tranmission to find out why?

now the tranny fluid change is over $2000.00

I'm just your every day back yard mechanic and I change my trans fluid every 50,000 whether it needs it or not and it alway smells burnt, that's called wear and tear. Was your brother having trans problems?
