Aarons Sales And Lease ripoff We terminated agreement to get rid of payments but they never picked up furniture, so that we would have to pay on it! Indianapolis Indiana

We had been paying on 2 love seats from Aarons Leasing, but after 1 1/2 years, we had to terminate the agreement. In the companies contract, as long as you notify them before the due date, they are supposed to pick up your furniture and thats that.

They were called on the 14th of May, 1 day before the due date, and told that we did not want to keep the furniture, and we did not want to pay for another month. They stated that they would be by to pick it up immediately, and there were no problems. They did not come that day, or the next. I then called them to state that I wanted the furniture gone, so that we would not incurr any more charges on the furniture. This did no good.

I have called them every day this week, and have always talked to Jerry. He is supposedly the manager of this store. The furniture was finally picked up today, the 19th of May. The furniture was picked up today, and I was told by the delivery driver that there was no charge due to the long wait, but 20 minutes after they left with the furniture, Jerry calls my house asking how will I pay for this months rent on the furniture. I dont have the money to pay for this month, and thats why I have given up the furniture. I believe that they took five days, so that I would have to pay another payment!
