Access America Travel Insurance Refused to pay on policy, Internet

I got air travel insurance from Access America on a Delta flight from Detroit to Boston. I had to cancel the flight because a close relative of mine had a medical problem which led to problems with the police, with the result that he was thrown in jail. This relative was going to travel with me on a vacation, so I had to cancel both the vacation and the flight. When I tried to file a claim with Access America, I was first put on hold for 45+ minutes, then the associate informed me that because of something in the fine print (i.e. only medical problems were covered, and actually only a few of them) this particular cancellation wasn't covered.

I will never deal with Access America again, and would advise everyone to avoid them. I sent a message to Delta suggesting they drop their association with this company because it is a fraud. I suggest that anyone else who is ripped off by Access America inform their airline and travel web sites (Orbitz, Travelocity, etc.) that their reputation is being seriously damaged by association with Access America.
