The beginning to the scam.....

My name is Edward Moore and I will be managing your registration as an employee and guiding you through our training and employment process. Your personal manager will be Julia Hudson. We are completing this process for the Assistant Manager position.

I have received your employment application form for the assistant manager position and the next step we have to do is to create your back-office account. Please take it seriously as it's required to provide you with access to important documents, and permit you to communicate with your personal manager.

You may access your employment paperwork and create this back-office account at: http://www.abs-office.net

Make sure to create your employee account as soon as possible, for we will not be able to complete the hiring process without it; your account is immediately active upon creation, allowing you access to employment documents and guidelines as well as access to your message board, which is the easiest and fastest way to get in touch with your personal manager if and when you need to.

Once you have finished creating your back-office account, contact Julia Hudson, your personal manager, using your personal messageboard. Your manager will assist you in scheduling your phone interview, provide instructions required to complete your application process and familiarize you with the most important aspects of working with the online back-office system. You will be able to download and sign your personal employment agreement from the "Documents" section of the back-office system after making out your phone interview.

This system is controlled through our internal ticket system, which will be activated for you when you create your back-office account. This board is checked frequently and assures you the fastest response time possible. Please keep in mind that the fastest and most effective way to contact your personal manager is leaving a message inside your message board.

After I did these things I started my assignments as an Assistant Manager for this company. First bank research, then after that I started working on the real estate research. I was supposed to get my first check deposited into my account on 2/12/10. Julia Hudson my supervisor said to wait 5 business days for the money to be deposited.

From that time period I saw this ripoff page and Mr. Smith said he was locked out of his account. So I contacted Julia Hudson and she assured me is was not a scam and that this page would be taken care of. That is when the "C.E.O" replied to Mr. Smith, then they emailed back showing me it was taken care of.

So thinking everything was still legit I continued by real estate research. Once I started emailing and calling Julia Hudson about when my check would be deposited, she never got back in touch with me. Now I am left with no job, no money, and total lack of faith in careerbuilder.

I did in fact contact careerbuilder and all the man said there was, "oh yeah you should stay away from jobs overseas." Well thanks for the information now!!! As I am sitting here struggling and trying to find out a way to pay rent and bills.

Why would careerbuilder allow or how would they allow someone like this to post positions or offer positions for a company that doesn't exist? This is beyond embarrassing and I can not believe no one cares to do anything about it. These people can get our account information and are probably now trying to take our identities. And all we can do is write a few paragraphs on a ripoff site!?!

Maybe I can get careerbuilder to hire me so I can fix how employers have to post positions on their site. Also helping people better understand how to avoid getting ripoffed and knowing what things to look for.

I wish everyone that has been scammed by this person(s), the best of luck in finding another job, and not allowing this to bring you down. As for me I hope I have a place to live after this!!!!

Thanks for letting me waste a month of my time, whoever thought this s**t up!

I feel your pane, I am left with waisting my time for a month, unpaid rent and wondering wht I am going to do. I could have been spending my time on other projects. I really think careerbuilder and this company should be held liable. It is a insult to hard working individuals to have too deal with a coward act like this. I filed my report today and hopefully we can get this scam resolved.
