They pressure me to enroll, and my son, we paid them $ 1,000, with the promese to get that money back in one month, and make my family change all the services, TV, Cable, Gas, Internet, change with them with long term contracts, with the promese we will receive a porcentage every month when our clients pay their bills, that never happened, and also that we will save money in our bills, total lie, now I'm paying more, and after 6 months I sent a letter because I was in an economical hardship, asking if it was possible to have my money back, they refused it and disativate me as a member, to avoid paying a little check of $24 dollars, and if I want that check, when I called today 1/8/13 they said I have to pay $120 to reactivate my membership... in order to received that check...Now if I want to cancell my services with them I have to pay high fees to disconect, because I'm with a contract. Plus they're using little youths to enroll people, because they are young and everyone want to support a teens.
This company is a total fraud! And I don't recomemded to anybody
PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES!!

Baseless Complaint!
AUTHOR: R. Michael Gonzalez - ()
SUBMITTED: Friday, March 15, 2013
I have written so many long and detailed responses to all of these baseless claims by ANONYMOUS sources, that It's nauseating, so I'll just keep them simple.
If you want to know the truth about this just go to - ACNIBO: Read The Facts - and read the article. It will only take a few minutes and you will understand the facts, not just opinions of 100s of ANONYMOUS complainers, who claim to know the truth, but wont reveal who they actually are.
There is no point in defending ACN from people who just want to believe how bad it is, they will seek what they want to believe, if you're one of them, dont bother reading the article you might have to change your mind.

Look at where the complaints come from

I am currently not affiliated with ACN in any way, shape or form, although I should note that I joined ACN in 2004 when I was fresh out of college. Back then they only had local and long distance (and I think maybe they were just starting to roll out cell phones). I've kept my eye on the company for the past 8 years tracking its progress.
Along my searches, I've come across many reports, such as this one, that call ACN a scam. First, you have to look at the source. Like the person that wrote this complaint. I don't know if English is his second language, but it looks like a 12 year old wrote the complaint. If I had to take a swing, I'd say it was some teenager looking to troll. Furthermore, it looks like he was wishy washy to begin with and the second he started to make some residual, he quit to try and get his money back, then when he couldn't get his money back (because it was 6 months later--ACN makes it abundantly clear that you have 2 weeks) he complained that he didn't get his residual (despite the fact that he quit).
Then you have to look at the allegations themselves. This guy goes on a rant about ACN using "youths" because nobody can "say no to teens." Is that why ACN IBOs come from all walks of life? Although, it's no surprise that younger people embrace the ACN model more so than older people. Think about it, kids that are turning 18 this year pretty much only know a world with facebook, twitter, etc. They understand the power of personal networking even if they don't know the potential.
Complainers like this point to it as a pyramid scheme because of the nature of the overriding residuals (ignoring that EVERY company has a "pyramid" compensation structure, i.e. the managers make more than the grunts, the lower level executives make more than managers, then the senior executives and then the owners/stockholders, the only difference being that in network marketing you can actually make more than the person above you AND you don't have to wait for that person to quit or get promoted, you can just go out, out work everyone and take it, whereas in corporate America you are limited by the person above you AND how much brown nosing you do with the higher ups) and ignorantly claim that people only get paid when you recruit other IBOs.
If you've ever actually sat through and looked at the ACN compensation plan, they make it BRUTALLY clear, in ALL their literature that ABSOLUTELY NO MONEY is paid out until customers are acquired. The DEFINITION of a "pyramid scam" or "ponzi scheme" is where there is no product and money is simply being distributed from the new sign ups. ACN clearly doesn't fit this description.
Another one of my favorite "it's obviously a scam" arguments is that you need to develop massive volume to make any sort of real residual money. How is that a scam? That's in the comp plan. If you couldn't see that you would need to develop a big organization to make residual income, then you are either 1) An idiot or 2) you weren't taught the compensation plan correctly.
Such reports almost always point to the fact that "only the people at the top are making any sort of real money." You mean those hard working individuals that have committed the last 8 years of their lives getting customers, presenting, recruiting, and training to build a large organization? Ya, what a bunch of scam artists.
I understand that some people are lied to by their upline to get them in to the business. This is the main reason ACN strictly prohibits earnings claims (also ALL OVER THEIR LITERATURE). I was fortunate, I had an honest, if unready upline. They told me what was needed to get paid, I simply didn't do it. I'm man enough to admit that, some people aren't. They need to excuse their failure, so they pick up on a slight negative (bad customer service rep, or barely saved someone money on services, or bad up line, etc) and say that the opportunity is a scam.
At this point, 23 countries (and their regulating bodies) have looked at ACN and their business model over 20 years and they've passed with flying colors. This company is legitimate. They expand their product portfolio constantly as well as give constant training and support to their IBOs and are primed to become one of the biggest direct selling companies in the world.
Just because some weakling didn't have the skills or mental fortitude to see the opportunity through, doesn't make ACN a scam. It makes it an actual business. If you started a McDonald's franchise, would you expect the doors to just magically open and money to start pouring in? Of course not, you have find the location, set up the McDonald's system, then make sure it runs properly (with you putting in $500K plus tons of leg work in the beginning). If you don't do any of that, guess what, you don't have a successful franchise.
That's ACN. If you work it consistently, for a period of time, you will most likely develop a top notch organization (assuming you learn the necessary skills and get good at presenting). The problem is we now live in a country with a "welfare" attitude instead of an entrepreneurial attitude. People expect success to just be handed to them instead of them having to get better.

I am sure acn have took advantages of you too by working/putting so many hours then not a good return. It is probably good to work as employee than dealing with this fake promises. I always have been a business owner and been to the acn meeting and thought every business takes time to make profit, unfortunately i was wrong after so many years. I had jointed acn since september and dealt with acn customer service long hours phone calls inorder to sign up my customers for services that are supposely be "competitive" which are not at all and have recruited people all witing 30 days period, unfortunately, acn came up with so many excuses for not paying anybody for they have worked for or the promotion that they have promised if it was followed. Our times and effort is precious and need to be awarded. acn is NOT a company to take care of their business owner except using them to advertise their services and pay little by little to them or not at all. They only want to pay if they want to or when they want to pay. There are great and smart ways to make money with little effort/time and be able to see the rewarding result with no time, it gives you courage not to stop working. I am sorry buddy! I am sure you have been through so much and still don't not enough to enjoy the beautiful things that are out there. I am sure you have been couple of years and bet you not making at least $6k a month.

Don't worry...

I'm sorry to hear that you could not find the motivation or determination to actually change your future. The biggest thing that needed change was your mindset, not your source of income. But don't worry, the world needs employees to serve our food and wash our cars... not everyone can be successful.
