ADT's customer service is unacceptable! Called up to cancel. Rep says I'm good to go but all I need to to do is pay for next 30 days. I said ok. I then have Xfinity come in and set up a new alarm system. After 4 days, I then get a call from ADT saying I owe an Early Termination Fee, because my contract was longer. What the hell? I specifically called up ADT to cancel, and based on your response, finalized things with Xfinity Home. If ADT had told me when I'd called in the first time, I'd have just run the contract as is, till the end of the contract period. This is inexcusable. I have to now pay $250+ because you have reps who cant do their job??
