Wanted to try AVG (antivirus products) NEW Version 8.0. I searched on Google and responded to the company at the top of the list, AVGversion-8.com, and followed the instructions which resulted in my having to pay US$ 69.14 either by Visa/Mastercard or Paypal. I elected to use PayPal and the funds were duly sent followed by my receiving the free trial version 7.5 download. I hadn't noticed that the page title had subtly changed to Advance Telecom Inc aka sales@ulimited.com which is who I later discovered was the beneficiary of my money. I didn't receive the promised instructions by email or the bonus software or, of course, 24/7 technical support. PayPal won't help by dispute until the funds are cleared and by then they'll be able to do nothing about it. Beats me why thet can't freeze it now, before the thieves get their hands on cleared funds and diispute it. I don't expect to get my money back (35+ sterling) as no-one seems to want to remove these people from the web although thousands of organisations like yourselves know about them. ClickBank is another who are jumping on the AVG bandwagon with their AVG.08. Free download website. My advice to all is only use a company with a 'contact us' facility on their website and contact them BEFORE you make a purchase. None of these criminals have that facility and they are almost always untraceable.
