A google search for Spybot download led me to a site identified by PayPal, Seller Information as "Advance Telecom Inc." - "sales@unlimited.com"

A standard system generated email was received with a Thank-You for your Order. It included a link for download of "Spybot" which is the free shareware version.

I paid via PayPal $35.01 USD for a 3 year VIP subscription, thinking is was for "Spybot" support. Silly Me! My further emails to "sale@unlimited.com" hav resulted in the same system generated reply.

So I've been caught! Let's hope that PayPay will be good enough to follow up this complaint as I can now see there and many, many people whow have also bee ripped off like me.
