KNOW YOUR RIGHTS!

AUTHOR: Kelly - (U.S.A.)

Please visit www.ftc.gov and find out about your rights in Debt Collection

http://www.ftc.gov/bcp/edu/pubs/consumer/credit/cre18.shtm

Also report any problems you have with a debt collector to your state Attorney Generals office (www.naag.org) and the Federal Trade Commission (www.ftc.gov). Many states have their own debt collection laws that are different from the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. Your Attorney Generals office can help you determine your rights under your states law.
