I went online today to pay my monthly statement on Advanta and found an abnormally high interest charge. I called the customer center and found out that they raised my interest rate from 9.99% to 24.99%. Their defense is a change in lending criteria. I have promptly cancelled the card and will never deal with advanta bank corp for anything ever again. This is criminal!
