Advanta Bank Corp. 9.9% to start gradually, unknowingly by me increased to 15% then sent a letter increasing to 21% ripoff deceptive company screwed others too Salt Lake City Utah

Started at 9.9% then gradually creeped up in 2% increments to 17.9% without me knowing, then sent me a letter increasing to 21%. That's when I paid them off and canceled my card.

After I canceled, there was a differential charge because of timing, I guess, and I said I would pay that, but I won't pay them the $40 charge they tacked on for an annual fee the day after I canceled. Since I won't ever again use a card from their bank I think they made up charges to rip me off, more.

Warning!!! I'm sure they have everything written in small print somewhere in some correspondence telling you what's going to happen to cover themselves but, you need legaleeze to figure it out. I just took them at there advertised word of 9.9% to be what I was going to be charged. Pretty nieve, huh!
Don't get caught! Avoid ADVANTA BANK credit cards.
