August 3, 2006, received call from an foreign speaking gentleman that knew my complete address, phone and bank. Said he wanted to make up for the scam that I had been thru by depositing $15,000.00 into my bank account. I said just mail the check, he said he could not mail it because Europe can't send to the USA. I replied "really". He just wanted to verify my account number and they would deposit. I then hung up on him.
August 7, 2006, received a call from the same foreign speaking man and he said he represented a US eletric company and they wanted to give me a discount. I told him no and not to call me again. I did tell him I knew he was Advantage America and all he said was "who". I have the phone number they called from it is 808-212-0041

Suspect's Phone Number

Quick note: 808-212-0041 is not their phone number. It is the default caller id generated by the extremely popular open source telecommunications server, Asterisk. It can occur intentionally by the suspect or by simply misconfiguring the caller id settings (happened more than once to me).
