Three recruiters contacted me by e mail and phone during the previous two months. Each one had a new name, I surmise not their real name, the red flags were that no actual office addresses were offered. Each recruiter, I don't believe that also, told me they were from Advantage Sales and Marketing, it should be Take Advantage of Sales and Marketing, and no real office address offered......
The red flag was that each Recruiter told me the same story. I was being made to take an online Personality exam. The red flag was that after a few days, I received a form letter that I wasn't needed. A red flag also is that their website is difficult to follow and the employment postings are vague with how to apply, more details and the locations.
The red flag also was that the Recruiters in each case were difficult to reach and never reply at all after the form e mail is done to my box. It's as if no one was really there at all.....It's a tactic to gather data from employment seekers......I would ignore any ads , voicemails etc....from Advantage Sales and Marketing........Furthermore, no one replies to the postings at this website to say otherwise...goes to show that it's a phony organization......

Advantage Sales is not a good organization to deal with.....The ads posted for employment are never what it seems and on one is really needed to fill anything.....no one can deal with that much deceptive advertising and no one can reach out to anyone in this organization and based upon experience the truth is written and it remains...
And naturally. Advantage Sales would address to a named person in that it's not deceptive and the nonsense is the truth as it's wrong.....as look at any rebuttals at this website.....nothing........just like the ads leading to nothing...

In your report you say that ASM appears to be a sham company looking for personal information; it indeed is not. ASM has been around for over 20 years and some of the companies they have acquired (Bud Mayer Co. for example) have been around many more than that. What you fail to see is the new age of corporate hiring. In today's electronic society e-apps and personality profiling play a huge part in who gets hired and who doesn't. Would you consider The Olive Garden restaurant chain to be a sham company? To become a dishwasher at OG requires the same type of app and personality assesment. As to why ASM would advertise positions on craigslist.com the reason is simple...it's free! All of the major job boards (Monster, Careerbuilder etc.) charge employers per listing. Also, ASM is not recruiting rocket scientists to do demo work at the local Costco or Sam's Club.
